On a Lake District morning that could and did have every type of weather brewing, over 2000 hardy cyclist lined up for the Fred Whitton. At its new base in Grasmere the riders got to be the first to sample the slightly adjusted route, which still retained all the passes. The ResultsBase team were spread over 5 timing points across Cumbria spanning the 112 miles and a timed hill section. A great day in all and we look forward to next year – click for results
Results Base were very happy to be the timing partners for the 2014 Sunderland 10k and Half Marathon. Well over 3000 competitors signed up for the two distances, providing the crowds in Sunderland with some fantastic times. Ian Hudspith (Morpeth) and Danielle Hodgkinson (Wallsend) took the 10k spoils while Yared Hagos (Wallsend) and Aly Dixon (Sunderland Strollers) took the Half Marathon titles. Lovely weather greeted the competitors for the Inaugural EnduRun24 event at Newcastle racecourse. The event format gave serious endurance athletes and first timers a chance to compete by having a solo, pairs and teams options in the set up. The stunning course had laps of around six miles starting and finishing outside the main racecourse headquarters. A sunny start to the sportive organised by Andy Cook Cycles and Cycle Wiltshire with nearly 500 pre-entries to the event and with entries on the day seeing the numbers rise to 550.
With a choice of three different routes and even a Premier Calender road race, the organisers have everything covered for cyclist in the area.
Today's Grizedale Grizzly started off dry and just held on all day. After seeing some fantastic cyclo cross and MTB bikes the 7:30 start window opened and the riders headed out into the Southern Lake District. Set in the grounds of Cartmel racecourse, the inaugural Grizedale Grizzly seemed a great success and we look forward to the rest of the 2014 series. To check results click here
Today Results Base were timing from the Highlands of Scotland, to the far end of England with a few events in between. Running, cycling -- we do it all! We pride ourselves on going that extra mile to make sure our customers are happy.

Results Base had a great day today working at the Run Balmoral event in Aberdeenshire. The event has a fantastic history and we are very proud to be timing this historic event.
The weather was typically Scotish, cold and wet...but the racing was top class with some fantastic performances from Robbie Simpson and Carolyn McLeod in the 10K and the 5K an epic performance by Rhona Auckland and Alistair .
