The Lambton Castle 5 mile Head Torch race, February 10th 2018 will be the second in a three race series of No Ego Challenges in Winter 2018. The 5 mile course takes place on the tracks and trails through the Lambton Estates in Chester le Street, County Durham.

This race will be on tracks and trails through the Estate forests and the linking gravel roads. Head torch racing is fun and challenging; don't forget your sense of humour. You will get dirty, so be prepared. This is not an obstacle race, apart from ducking to miss branches, avoiding tree roots and running down steep descents.

This is Pure Trail, in the dark!

If you don't have a head torch they can be purchased on line from around £15.00 or just use a hand-held torch.

Head torches WILL NOT be on sale on the night of the event.

For insurance purposes the minimum age for this event is 16 years old on the night.

Registration opens at 4:50 pm.

Race start time 6:00 pm.

Entry price

Individual entry price is £13.00 plus the Results Base booking fee of 90p per entry.

Please note, there will be NO on-the-night entry for this event.

Entry limit for this event is 600 and registration will close when this number is hit.

First five male and female finishers receive an event tech t-shirt, these will also be on sale on the night at the venue.
