The Dalby Forest 5 mile Head Torch race, March 3rd 2018 will be the last in a three race series of No Ego Challenges in Winter 2018. The 5 mile course takes place on the tracks and trails through the mighty Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire.

It will be a new route, or should we say predominately the same route as the January race but run in the opposite direction. Uphills become downhills, etc. Can you run this faster than our original route? We can't!!

This race will be on single tracks and trails through the forest, mostly unused by the public and some only run on for our event. Head torch racing is fun and challenging; don't forget your sense of humour. You will get dirty, so be prepared. This is not an obstacle race, apart from ducking to miss branches, avoiding tree roots and running down steep descents.

This race sold out approx 3 weeks prior to the event last year. So book early.

If you don't have a head torch they can be purchased on line from around £15.00 or just use a hand-held torch.

Head torches WILL NOT be on sale on the night of the event.

For insurance purposes the minimum age for this event is 16 years old on the night.

Registration opens in the Dalby Forest Visitor Centre at 5.00 pm.

Pre race briefing 6.10 pm.

Race start time 6:20 pm.

Entry price

Individual entry price is £13.50 plus the Results Base booking fee of 90p per entry.

Please note, there will be NO on-the-night entry for this event.

Entry limit for this event is 650 due to parking restrictions and registration will close when this number is hit.

First five male and female finishers receive an event tech t-shirt, these will also be on sale on the night at the venue.
