On the western edge of the Black Mountains, set in magnificent woodland, in its own natural valley, we bring to you the very first DirtyDual in the Mydd cross-duathlon.

This is the perfect multi-terrain course to test yourself if you are a seasoned duathlete or if you’re a first timer, it will give you the chance to benchmark your performance so come and give it a go! It’s all about the taking part for us at Cwm Cymraeg Events so every participant will receive a medal and goody bag with special medals for the winners!

Although this event is open to everyone over the age of 16, please be aware that a good level of fitness is required due to the undulating terrain of the location and one or two surprises along the way!

Our events are open to ANY type of bicycle, be it a gravel, cyclo-cross or mountain bike, all other rules and regulations regarding cross-duathlons will be adhered to. For a copy of these rules see HERE.

During entry you will be asked which class of bicycle you will be using and special medals will be given to the top three in each of the following classes:

• Solo Male Cross
• Solo Male MTB
• Solo Female Cross
• Solo Female MTB
• Relay2 Cross
• Relay2 MTB
• Relay3 Cross
• Relay3 MTB

Distances and entry fees

The DirtyDual in the Mydd starts with a 5k run, continues with a 20k bike section (three loops) and concludes with a second 5k run.

It can be entered as a solo individual (16+) for £25 or you can enter as a relay team of two at £45 or a team of three at £65.

Individual entrants who have a valid Welsh Triathlon/BTF membership can obtain a £5 discount during registration. Please note, if you have registered for the race using a Welsh Triathlon/BTF membership number you MUST present your membership card at registration or you will be required to pay the supplement for a Day Licence.

An administration fee of 6% will be applied to each entry by our online entry system partner, Results Base
