We return with this popular and friendly 10km trail run through Headley Heath - the event this year is sponsored by TWM Solicitors and Fitstuff with the charity of the year for 2019 the Motor Neurone Disease Association. 

The 10km route weaves in and out of the pathways through the heathland, returning to the start area a couple of times, making it great for spectators who will see you 4 times.

The course is undulating (with one hill on each lap) featuring pleasant open heathland as well as narrow woodland paths. There are spectacular views, and, of course, at this time of year the carpet of bluebells.    
 
As in previous years all profits made by Leatherhead Rotary will be donated to their designated charity of the year the Motor Neurone Disease Association: 
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressive terminal condition that kills, on average, six people every day in the UK. It can leave people unable to walk, talk or even feed themselves, whilst their mind and senses invariably remain unaffected. Average life expectancy from diagnosis is just fourteen months and, as yet, there is no cure or effective treatment.

The East Surrey Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) provides care and support to around sixty people living with MND throughout the East Surrey area, as well as helping to fund vital research into the disease itself.
