Close House 10k Trail Run - February 2nd
Close House is home to the British Masters Golf Tournament in 2020 and also now the Close House Wild Deer 10k Trail Run. The fabulous venue in the Tyne Valley will be an amazing backdrop for this trail run along paths, woodland trails, buggy tracks, the Wylam Waggonway, the riverside and on the outskirts of both fantastic Lee Westwood golf courses. A More Mile T-shirt, Medal, Bacon Sandwich or alternative & tea/coffee provided by the venue for all finishers. Promises to be a fantastic first race of 2020 for the Wild Deers.
We have added a 3k Trail Run for any under 16s. Children under 11 can run with a parent or guardian for no extra charge. The course is flat and is on grass, the bridleway and riverside paths. All finishers will receive a Wild Deer water bottle or gym bag and some sweet treats!

Derwent Reservoir 10mile & 5k Trail Runs - March 1st
A challenging 10 Mile Trail Run around the banks of the Derwent Reservoir, a place of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Car parking is at the Northumbrian Water Cafe below the dam which is the start/finish area for the race. Covering both sides of the Reservoir on trails, paths & woodland walks this is sure to be a popular event for all fitness levels. The route also takes in a lap of Pow Hill Countryside Park. A More Mile T-shirt, medal and food and drink for all finishers.
We will also be holding a 5k before the main 10 mile event for anyone over 16. Ideal for those new to Running or Trails. Food and drink for all finishers.

Please note that during the registration process your British Athletics/UKA membership will be checked and if valid the appropriate discount will be applied. Scottish Athletics and Welsh Athletics members can also obtain the discount by entering their membership number into the appropriate field.
An administration fee of 6% will be applied to each order by our online entry system partner, Results Base.
