We are delighted to announce the return of the Saints Way Trail Challenge, a one day 28.5 mile challenge following the way-marked Pilgrims and drovers trail running right across Cornwall from Padstow to Fowey!

Not long enough for you?... New for 2020, we have the Saints Way Ricochet! Fowey to Padstow and back again, 57 miles!

Take advantage of our limited early bird offers, the Challenge is restricted to 200 entries, the Ricochet restricted to 100.

Saints Way Challenge

You'll start outside the gates of St.Petrocs Church in Padstow and head SE through Cornwall, along trails and country lanes, across St. Breock Downs, through Lanivet and up to the top of Helman Tor, on through Lanlivery and onto the Fowey river before following the valley down to the finish at Fimbarrus Church in Fowey!

Follow this ancient pathway from coast to coast, this way marked trail has been associated with early saints and missionaries and early Celtic traders seeking to trade with the Egyptians and Greeks of flee the yellow plague in Wales in the sixth century.

Both routes are supported, self-navigation exercises with three manned checkpoints with fluid and sustenance along the route. All runners will receive a unique Saints Way Challenge 2020 / Saints Way Ricochet 2020 medal.

Registration for the Saints Way Challenge will be held at the Methodist Church Hall in Padstow PL28 8AU, further detail regarding registration timings will be posted closer to race day. There will be a mandatory kit list for runners to carry, all competitors will be subject to a kit check prior to the start of the challenge.

This event will be timed, runners will be issued with a GPS tracker prior to the start of the challenge and be required to check in at the start, all three checkpoints and the finish.

There is an optional extra cost for mini bus transport from Fowey back to Padstow should you require it (please book at the same time as you book your challenge entry).

The minimum age for both events is 18 years.
