Gainsborough Morton 10k 2020

Gainsborough Morton 10k 2020

Information and registration

Sunday
15 November 2020

New Date

Sunday 15th November 2020

Based on information received from Public Health England via our Event Safety Advisory Group, who oversee all events in the locality, we have looked at when we anticipate it will be safe to put the race on and when our various service providers are available. The race calendar for September and October is swamped with re-arranged races, the 10k will now take place on Sunday 15th November 2020 with a 10am start.

Tape2Tape are delighted to be organising the Gainsborough Morton 10k road race. This is located in a lovely Lincolnshire village, with the course being very flat, fast and scenic, taking in a stretch alongside the River Trent.

New for 2020 is the Corporate Cup where the finish times of four runners (male and/or female) from the same business have their times combined to see who wins the cup. Enter your business details during the registration process.

Every finisher will receive a fantastic quality medal and cake!

Prizes will be offered as follows

  • 1st Male/Female £200
  • 2nd Male/Female £150
  • 3rd Male/Female £100

Team awards

There will be a prize for the first male and first female England athletics club runners; first 4 runners to count. This will be based on aggregate finish positions.

Vets Prizes

Due to the potential for cold weather, we do not want runners waiting around for a long time. As a result these will be posted out around a week after the race.

Vets prizes will be awarded to first placed runners.

Male/Female Vet 35 up to Vet 80 in 5 year increments.

Also, first under 20 male/female.
