Welcome to the Live Life Aberdeenshire Events Duathlon Series 2020 Sponsored by Total Endurance

A seven-race series set over the winter months between January and November with various distances and for all abilities.

Duathlon is a Run followed by a Bike then back out on a Run to finish. Typical distance is 5km run / 20km Bike / 5km run but the series has shorter or longer options.

The Live Life Aberdeenshire Events team are all about events that are safe and professionally organised, but that retain a sense of fun, friendly atmosphere, are very inclusive, and great value for money.

COVID19 Update

We are happy to be able to confirm that following Scottish Government guidance, Triathlon Scotland have been allowed to start sanctioning events again. We therefore can look at bringing back the remaining events on the Live Life Aberdeenshire event Calendar. 

There will be a few alterations to the usual event structure to allow for social distancing, full instructions will be emailed to athletes in advance, but key changes are likely to include:

- Limited Entries

- Time Trial Start

- Athlete briefings will be sent in advance by email. No race day briefings.

- We will reduce race touch points as far as reasonably possible throughout registration & course.

-  Extended transition areas to allow for social distancing.

- Face masks required for registration

- Track & Trace health declaration required.

- Spectators discouraged

- No prize-giving (This is a Triathlon Scotland requirement).

* This is all subject to obvious Covid-19 caveats, particularly changes in Scottish Government guidance and governing bodies requirements.

Payment notes

Please note, if you have registered for the race using a BTF/STA membership number you MUST present your membership card at registration or you will be required to pay a supplement for a Day Licence.

Relay team entries qualify for ONE discount per team and not one discount per team member.

If you enter FOUR Duathlon races in the series on the same order you will automatically receive a 10% discount at the checkout.

If you enter SIX Duathlon races in the series on the same order you will automatically receive a 15% discount at the checkout.

Live Life Aberdeenshire members with a valid full membership can receive £2 discount at the checkout. Please email sportsevents@aberdeenshire.gov.uk BEFORE YOU START THE ENTRY PROCESS with your name and membership number for us to check your membership and issue your discount code.

An administration fee of 5% will be applied to each order by our online entry system partner, Results Base.
