Registrations for this event are temporarily on hold, please bear with us as we assess our ongoing event plan.

The Sunshine Run 5k is a fast and flat out and back Charity Run. Raising funds for The Chronicle Sunshine Fund, changing the lives of children with disabilities across the North East.

All runners welcome, from elite to fun runners!

6:45pm – Warm up

6:55pm – Elite runners

7:00pm – Fun runners

Starting at the Pitcher & Piano on Newcastle Quayside, the run will take you along the riverside to Newcastle Business Park and back to cross the Millennium Bridge and finish at Baltic Square.

Your £20 registration fee will include a T-shirt, medal and your race timing chip plus will enable us to cover event costs.

If you would like to make a one-off donation in addition to your registration fee that will be donated directly to the charity you can do on our website. Please note that during the registration process your British Athletics/UKA membership will be checked and if valid the appropriate discount will be applied. Scottish Athletics and Welsh Athletics members can also obtain the discount by entering their membership number into the appropriate field.

A bulk entry discount of 10% will be automatically applied where 10 or more entries are placed on a single order.
