This brand new event has been created to fill the void of the postponement of Red Run 2020 and to encourage families to stay active during lockdown due to the current coronavirus pandemic. It will also hopefully raise some much needed funds for a great cancer charity – Friends of ANCHOR.

All four options will be completed remotely in your own time, fell free to walk or run your chosen distance but please stay within current government lockdown guidance on the day you complete the event.

Entry Donations

Regal Red 5k/10k (16+) – Minimum Entry Donation £5

10k (16+) – Minimum Entry Donation £5

5k (11+) – Minimum Entry Donation £5

Red Rascal (up to 12Yrs) – Minimum Entry Donation £2.50

NO REFUNDS WILL BE OFFERED, ENTRY MONEY WILL BE PASSED ONTO THE CHARITY

Prizes

All finishers will get a custom Red Run medal.

It would be great to have pictures of you completing the event. There will be some spot prizes for the best pictures sent in.

These events can be either fun or competitive. There will be results but its by no means compulsory that you enter them. You will be able to enter your times (see HERE for instructions)

If you are completing as a race please choose routes with negligible negative elevation and submit your elapsed time . The winning times will be checked at the end of September. 

Prizes will be posted or delivered/picked up where possible to reduce costs. This will be broken down over the three months so you hopefully won’t have to wait too long for your medal.

Timetable

Enter and complete any time between 1st July and 30th September. Note that for the Regal Red you can do the distances in either order and on different days (you will be able to input the times separately).
