Alnwick Castle 10k Trail Run & Family 2.5k 2021

Wild Deer Events bring you a fabulous 10k trail run at this outstanding, world-famous location.

We are working with the amazing NE Youth Charity who are one of the North East’s leading youth development charity’s supporting young people in the region. Their vision is to make sure all young people have the opportunities they deserve, and to get involved in their communities, enjoy their lives and achieve their potential.

They do this by providing a high quality youth offer across the region, through their own direct youth work services and by working with and supporting their member network of organisations working with young people. There will be an option to link to their Just Giving Page during the entry proceedure.

There will be a 10k for adults over 16 and a 2.5k for families. The start and finish of both races will be outside the Castle by the River Aln and the 10k will take in a lap around the magnificent Hulne Park, the private estate of the Duke of Northumberland. All social distancing at the time of the event will be adhered to. Unfortunately no dogs allowed in the Park so we are unable to have Canicross entries.

An EVENT T-SHIRT, WOODEN MEDAL, SNACK & A DRINK will be given to all finishers in the 10k. 2.5km runners will be given a T-SHIRT & A DRINK.

Adults do not need to purchase a number for the children's run (but can run with their child).  All under 11s should be accompanied by an adult.
