Smiling Tri Coach is excited to launch their newest challenge. It’s a Race for Hope to take participants out of their comfort zone and give themselves a meaningful challenge to run, walk or cycle through the latest national lockdown.

Participants can enter as an individual or as part of a team(†) of up to 4 people. You can choose a run challenge or a cycle challenge, or if you are brave, you can choose a run challenge AND a bike challenge.

(†)NOTE: all members of a team must be doing the same challenge!

The Race for Hope starts on Saturday 23rd January and finishes on Saturday 20th February. You have 4 weeks to complete the distance challenge that you choose for yourself. The race is on to see who manages to finish the Challenge in the fastest time in the four weeks, overall, by gender and by age group.

Your options

Individual entries are open to all aged 16 and over. Team entries are open to all aged 8 and over.

All finishers will receive a finishers medal.

All entrants will have access to our event Facebook group, which will be full of fun and accountability to help you on your journey!

The distance you travel should be completed within the Government guidelines of your country, which in England, for outdoor exercise are currently once per day, staying local.
