The entry fee for Non-Home Nations Members includes £6 to cover Triathlon England Day Membership.
All Home Nations Members must present their Race Licences at Registration or pay a £6 Day Membership fee (not applicable to Relay Teams).
A booking fee will be applied to each order by our online entry partner, Results Base.
EVENT INFORMATION
The duathlon run route follows the footpath that winds its way through the woods and meadows that surround the lake. The bike route will take you out of the Country Park along the flat coastal route.
Following on from the success of its sister event, The Northumberland Triathlon. The Duathlon will attract a wide range of competitors from all abilities. The distances and courses are well suited to beginners and equally attractive to seasoned competitors and those Competitors wishing to move up from short sprint to the long standard distance. An ideal event to end your season!
The Northumberland Duathlon is located right next to the stunning Druridge bay, on a beautiful stretch of Northumberland coastline. The Country Park is a popular place to cycle, run, swim, walk, paddle, surf and is perfect for a fun family day out, so why not make a family weekend or day of it?
The Country park comprises of a café, Visitors centre, outdoor children’s play area, sheltered picnic areas and camping and motor home facilities for you to enjoy and relax. The famous fish n’ chip`s from the fishing village of Amble are only 3 miles away, the historic Warkworth Castle is 5 miles, or you could just visit the beautiful Northumberland coastal villages along the coastline, taking in all that Northumberland has to offer. Newcastle city centre is approximately 20 miles South.
The minimum age for the short Sprint Distance is 15 years old on 31st December 2021, and for the Long Standard Distance event is 17 years old on 31st December 2021.
