We are delighted to announce the 2022 date for our annual duathlon event at the beautiful Derwent Reservoir. This will be our only duathlon at the venue in 2022.

The running is on tarmac and trail paths around the waterside and the cycling is on the open roads around the Reservoir towards Edmundbyers, Blanchland and Slaley.

There will be the usual SPRINT distance 5km run, 20km cycle and a 2.5km run. The STANDARD distance is a 10km run, 40km cycle and a 5k run. There is also the option to do the event as a relay with your friends.

The event is for all fitness levels, any type of push bike can be used but a cycling helmet must be worn. The SPRINT distance is ideal for first timers or novice athletes.

There will be a Wooden Medal, an Event T-shirt, snacks and a drink for all finishers.
