We are delighted to announce our return to the iconic BAMBURGH CASTLE for our first Duathlon of 2022. Running will again be on paths and trails around Bamburgh Castle with the cycling on the open roads of the outstanding Northumberland Coastline. There will be a SPRINT EVENT 5km, 23km & 2.5km and a STANDARD EVENT 10km, 47km & 5k run. There is also the option to do the events as relays with your friends or family.

Sprint Duathlon	5km, 20+km, 2.5km
Standard Duathlon	10km, 40+km, 5km

When registering you will be asked for your best 10k running time which will allow us to create waves/starting groups in case of any social distancing measures at the time of the event. 

The events are for all fitness levels, any type of push bike can be used but a cycling hat must be worn. The Sprint Event is ideal for first timers.

There will be a Wooden medal, an Event top, snacks & a drink for all finishers. The event has LIVE chip timing, free toilets, FREE PARKING, a secure transition area and free photography.
