EVENT CHANGED TO VIRTUAL

Following today's (22nd December) announcements regarding Covid restrictions in Wales we have no option but to swap to a virtual event.

You are still able to register and take part. Thank you for your support.

Porthcawl Runners are delighted to be associated with the Porthcawl Lions Boxing Day Run which has been taking place for over 30 years. We are also delighted to announce that WE ARE BACK and able to hold the traditional event starting from the HiTide again this year after last year’s virtual run.

The event will take place on paved / tarmac surfaces with the route heading from the fairground up to Rest Bay and back again.

Start at any time after 00:01 am GMT on Sunday 26th December 2021 up to midnight GMT on Sunday 16th January 2022

Run 6.5km

All profits from the event will go to the Porthcawl Lions CIO (Charity number 1175303) to be distributed to their chosen charities.

Entry fees

In advance - £6 (plus admin fee) - £4 (plus admin fee) for affiliated runners

Nobody under the age of 15 is allowed to enter.
