Cornelly Striders are excited to announce the return of the Prince of Wales New Year’s Day Race. A new route, with a taste of the old traditions, supported by The Prince of Wales Inn and The Trustees of Kenfig Nature Reserve.

The event will take place on a multi terrain course heading from Kenfig Nature Reserve Centre to Sker Beach along the coastal path and back again. The Prince of Wales will provide soup for all runners after the race and prizes will be awarded at this time for the 1st Male and Female along with a spot prize.

The run starts at 11am on Sunday 1st January 2023 with number collection from the Kenfig Nature Reserve Centre 10am.

Approx. run distance is 6km

Entry fees

£8 (plus admin fee) for non affiliated runners and £6 (plus admin fee) for affiliated runners - entries close at 12 noon on Friday 30th December 2022.

Nobody under the age of 16 is allowed to enter.
