Top three male and female teams (irrespective of category), 1st Male & Female Vet Teams, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Mixed Team & First Mixed Vet Team (min.one female) First Junior Team (age 14-18. Juniors must be 15 by 31/12/2025).
To be classified as a Vets team all three members must be aged over 40 on race day.
ENTRY £144 PER TEAM + booking fee.

IMPORTANT: British Triathlon Membership/Race Pass
If you are a British Triathlon (Core or Ultimate) member, bring your BT license to registration.
Competitors need to be either a British Triathlon member who hold a race licence or if a non member, need to purchase a British Triathlon Race Pass for this event (BEFORE RACE DAY). Non members can also purchase a British Triathlon ‘Core’ or ‘Ultimate’ membership.
2025 BT Race Passes for adults are £8 or £2 for Juniors (24yrs or under on 31/12/25)

Race description
NEW Each team consists of three competitors, who complete the course as follows: Team member No. 1 will take part in the mass swim start, followed by the 18km cycle, and the 3.8km run. Team member No. 2 will start just before the last swimmer from Wave 1 exits the water and completes the swim, cycle & run as above and once the last Wave 2 swimmer is exiting the water, Team member No. 3 will start and complete the swim, bike and run. The team’s time will be calculated as team member No. 3 finishes the course.
IMPORTANT: Wave 2 and Wave 3 swimmers will start in a time trial format from the pontoon and their individual start times taken by the timing crew. ONLY Wave 1 is a mass start. Most competitors will be on the cycle course by 09:15hrs when the roads are much quieter.
There is no limit to the number of teams per club, but each team must be individually detailed. Changes to team members with full emergency/medical details MUST be completed by 1st Septemeber 2025. Detailed information is available on the website to help with this process. This is crucial to ensure we have all emergency contact information and to ensure team information and classifications can be finalised. Team changes made after this time may not be eligible for category prizes or recorded correctly in the results. Cancellations may be refunded if Horsham Amphibians are contacted up to 4 weeks before race day and a replacement team can be found. Entries cannot be carried forward to the following year. Horsham District Council in partnership with Southwater Watersports Centre maintains supervision of Cripplegate Lake and the surrounding area but as a large body of untreated water hosting a range of wildlife, factors beyond the Council’s control may create an unsuitable environment for watersports. In such circumstances the Council reserves the right to close the lake to watersports activities. The lake water can also have varying bacterial levels which cannot be controlled and so people who take part in watersports at the lake should, therefore, be aware of the inherent risks associated with inland open water such as Leptospirosis (Weil’s disease) and neither the Council, Southwater Watersports nor Horsham Amphibians Triathlon can be held liable for any ill health resulting from such activity.
Please note: Horsham Amphibians Triathlon (HAT) reserve the right to use photographs taken at this event for future marketing purposes. HAT will not use or store any data beyond what is required for the purposes of the 2025 race organisation.
