Event Information
The Woodhorn Museum Open Water Challenge Swim is an established event attracting a wide range of competitors from all abilities.
The Open Water Challenge Swim events are very well suited to beginners and equally attractive to the seasoned open water swimmer. The Challenge Swims are competitive, but fun. An ideal event to add to your multisport calendar!
The Swims will take place in the warm shallow freshwater QE2 Lake set within the park grounds.
If you are worried about open water swimming, why not join us for our weekly open water swimming sessions at the QE2 lake (every Thursday, May - July), further details are on our VO2Max open water swim page.

| Woodhorn Museum Open Water Swim Challenges: 750m - 1.5km & 3km |
The minimum age for the 750m & 1.5km open water swim events is 12yrs on 31st December 2025.
The minimum age for the 3km open water swim event is 13yrs old on 31st December 2025.
Please note that all Youths (under 16 on 31st December 2025) must hand in a signed parental consent form at the event registration.)
A booking fee of 5% will be applied to each order by our online entry partner, Results Base.
