Ferring Country Centre are excited to announce their first running event. "5 'n' 5" is just that, you can choose to run 5km, 5 mile or the kids Mini-Mile on quiet roads and trails close to the centre, Ferring Rife and private Sea Front. The Rife, (or stream) runs from the centre down to the sea at East Preston between Worthing and Littlehampton.

The run starts at 6:30pm on a Friday evening and is a great excuse to knock off early and head down to the seaside for a chilled out run. This is a charity event with all profit going directly to the Ferring Country Centre. Organising the run itself will be Raw Energy Pursuits Ltd who will be using volunteers from the centre. By starting at 6:30pm on a summer evening, it’s a great way to unwind before the weekend. Entry fee includes a medal, water bottle and free photos. Please come and join us. Ferring Country Centre (Charity Number: 297286) is an independent charity that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, both in their local communities and in our countryside setting. The centre's Day Service is designed to create a supportive and enriching environment where individuals can thrive. In addition to these essential services, Ferring Country Centre thrives through its public-facing enterprises, including a Riding School, Rangers Cafe, Dales Farm, Garden Centre, and Gift Shop, all open seven days a week. The revenue generated from these ventures is reinvested into the charity, supporting its mission to make a positive impact on the lives of those with learning disabilities.

Ferring Country Centre are currently fundraising for a dance, yoga, and fitness studio to be built at the centre, allowing the people they support to access physical activities in a safe and purpose-built environment. Money raised from the event will go towards this, so every step you take really can make a difference.
