Whether you are a new or seasoned runner looking for your next challenge or just wanting to get fit, our 10k is perfect for you! The route is varied, scenic and flat, and the run is well established and organised with start finish chip timing. Best of all, by taking part and raising just a little sponsorship money you will be helping the only Children’s Hospice in East and west Sussex and South East Hampshire!

This year Chestnut Tree House is celebrating its 10th birthday and also the 10th annual 10k run, so this event will be bigger and better than ever before. The event attracts seasoned club runners from all over the South of England, as well as individuals and families – all runners aged 16 and over are welcome.

The 10k is a highlight on the Littlehampton events calendar and the public who line the route create a fantastic atmosphere. It is also a day of challenge and personal achievement, whilst raising vital funds and awareness for your local children’s hospice. With your help, we can really make a difference to the lives of the children and families that use Chestnut Tree House.

Beautiful scenic route

Our run has been planned to give runners a beautiful and varied route. Starting on the Littlehampton seafront, the run takes in stunning sea views before heading through residential Littlehampton. A short stretch along greensward flat grass overlooking the sea will see you to the return leg.

The route finishes with a loop of the beautiful Mewsbrook Park and then heads straight along the seafront for the last kilometre. The route is fast and flat and perfect for runners trying to improve their PB. It is suitable for both a professional or first time runner. You can download a route map at the bottom of the page.

Start - finish chip timing
with viewing screen at finish Once again, our run will operate a professional chip timing system with both start and finish mats to ensure all runners get an accurate running time and a viewing screen at the finish. As always the route will be marshalled by our friendly professional and volunteer marshals and there will be water stops conveniently placed along the way. This event attracts a local crowd, with a great atmosphere to get you through those last few kilometres.

The run starts at 9.30am on Littlehampton seafront in Sussex and is open to anyone over 16 years old. It costs just £12 to enter in advance or £15 on the day. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
