Nicol of Skene Westhill 10k Fun Run

A warm welcome to the first ever Westhill 10k Fun Run. This is a fun event organised to promote active participation in sporting events and wellbeing for all. Your safety during the run is paramount and, with the co-operation of Aberdeenshire Council, road closures have been organised for the duration of the event. A chip timing system will be in operation and results will be available immediately post race via printer, text or website. The course will be marshalled with water stations and distance signage in place. Prizes will be on offer for winners in each of the race categories and all participants will receive medals, T-shirts and more.
Entry Fees: 10k race £16 for Scottish Athletics members / £18 for non Scottish Athletics members. £1 of the entry fee will be taken as a donation to sensationALL, our partner charity. The children's races are free to enter. Please note that a small charge will be made to cover credit and debit card processing.
CNOOC Nexen Junior Fun Runs
Kids fun runs will take place prior to the start of the 10k. Race times to be confirmed. They will take place on the Westhill Academy playing fields. All kids will receive a race number on the day and a medal on completion. Prizes will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Boy/Girl in each of the junior runs.
Please note online pre-entries only, no entries taken on the day. So please sign up and avoid disappointment! Event entry closes on May 31st or when the event limit of 500 is reached.

Refunds and exchanges: There will be no refunds. Exchanges will be processed entirely at the discretion of the race organisers.

Event Registration: On the day in Westhill Academy, opening at 8.30am
Car Parking: Parking will be available at Westhill Academy
Race Numbers/Packs: These will be collected on the day. They will not be posted prior to the event
Changing: Limited facilities will be available at Westhill Academy and Ashdale Hall. A bag drop will also be available at these locations but the organisers accept no responsibility for loss of clothing or equipment.
Runner Conduct: To ensure safety, competitors are required to obey the marshals instructions at all times
Promoted under SAL rules, course measured by Jones counter.
The 10k event is open to all ages (15+) and abilities. Prizes will be offered for race categories below. Also a chance to be the first to set a course record!
Senior - 15 to 39 years old
Veteran - 40 to 49 years old
Super Veteran - 50 to 59 years old
Vintage - 60 years old +
