The start area is located in the village of Morton and the new Race HQ is located in the Morton Village Hall opposite the Morton Trentside Primary School (here's a Google Map of the location).

This is a very flat, fast rural road race, starting in Morton and taking in the villages of East Stockwith and Walkerith, please come along and help us put Gainsborough back on the running map.

This is a great course to attack your PB and as we are rated 17th in the top 50 races and 5th in the top 10 10k races by Runners World it's clear that a lot of other people agree!

Entry fee:

  • UKA Affiliated £18.00 plus 75p booking fee
  • Unaffiliated £20.00 plus 75p booking fee

Please note that there will be a small additional charge made for processing your debit or credit card and this will be shown at the checkout stage.

Individual prizes:

  • First place - £150
  • Second place - £100
  • Third place - £50
  • There is a Course Record Bonus of £100 for the Male or Female runner who breaks the current record of:
    Male: Ben Livesey (Notts AC) 30:53
    Female: Faye Fullerton(Havering Mayesbrook AC) 34:07

All other age categories*:

  • First place - £20

(*Prizes will be awarded to Male and Female categories represented on the day as recognised by UKA as follows: U20, V35, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65, V70, V75, V80, V85)

Team prize (Male Team and Female Team):

  • First place - £100

Teams will be composed of the first four runners home from each club. To qualify, members MUST be wearing a club vest or shirt and MUST have registered as part of that club.

Extras

  • Goodie bag and a memento for every finisher
  • Optional T-shirt which may be purchased during entry with £2 of the cost being donated direct to our designated event charity.
  • First Aid cover provided by the British Red Cross

Kids fun run

While you're signing yourself up for the 10k why not put your children in for the Fun Run? It's just £3 to enter and open to children aged 3 to 15 (they must have an adult present while they run).
