RACE INFORMATION

Location: Carlisle Racecourse, Durdar Road, Carlisle CA2 4TS

Race Start Time: 19:00

Facilities: Toilets for both male/female are available. There will be a kit room for athletes to leave bags etc in which will be locked for the duration of the race. Refreshments will be available to purchase from the racecourse bar.

Parking: Parking will be at the racecourse car park. Please take care crossing the road to the main racecourse building.

Registration: Open from 17.30 to 18:30 at the registration desk in the main racecourse building.

Course: The route is 10km route using mainly quiet country roads. There will be a water station at 5km and at the finish. The run will finish directly in front of the racecourse grandstand.

This is an officially measured and certified accurate course by the Association of UK Course Measurers.

Risk Assessment: A full course risk assessment will be on display at the event HQ on race day together with details of the liability insurance and RunBritain registration and Course Measurement Permit.

Race Safety Briefing: The race briefing is mandatory (18:45) during which key safety points will be covered.

Prizes: Prize presentation will occur as soon after the last competitor has finished. Prizes will be awarded for the following (subject to entries):

1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd Male/Female Open.

1^st Male / Female 40 – 49.

1^st Male / Female 50 – 59.

1^st Male / Female 60 – 69.
