Epic Swim Wigan takes place at the Three Sisters Waterski Club in Wigan. There are three distances to choose from 750m, 1500m or 3.8km, depending upon your age and ability. The format for the swims will be different to our previous events and will be based on a ‘time trial’ format which will follow the latest Swim England and Government guidelines. To ensure safety and social distancing there will be no mass start for any events. Swimmers will be allocated a specific start time and will start in the water at pre-determined intervals. We’ve worked closely with the local council to make this swim series possible and we can guarantee both a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
We will have a live leaderboard throughout the day, both onsite and online, to keep you and your followers updated with swim times during the event. We can still guarantee a great atmosphere with our MC on the mic, music and a great finish line team. Presentations will be live on Facebook, with prizes for various categories.

What do I need to enter
Wetsuits are compulsory at Epic Swim Wigan. Shortie type wetsuits are allowed if you are an experienced swimmer, but we recommend full length arms and legs due to the water temperatures. The minimum age for competitors is 11/14/17 years for 750m/1500m/3.8km on the day of the event. All U16s must swim with a tow float. It is not possible to swim without a wetsuit at this event.
