New for 2021, we have the Saints Way Ricochet, Fowey to Padstow and back again, 57 miles!

Saints Way Ricochet

You’ll start at the gates of St.Fimbarrus Church in Fowey and make your way north across the county, skirting through Golant, whipping up Helman Tor, skipping across the St.Breock Downs, before hitting the half way point at St.Johns Methodist Church in Padstow. Pause for breath, refuel the machine and head off back down south towards Fowey.

Follow this ancient pathway from coast to coast, this waymarked trail has been associated with early saints and missionaries and early Celtic traders seeking to trade with the Egyptians and Greeks or flee the yellow plague in Wales in the sixth century.

This event is a supported, self-navigation exercise with 7 manned checkpoints with fluid and sustenance along the route. All runners will receive a unique Saints Way Ricochet 2021 medal, there is an overall cut off time of 19 hours for this event, with individual cut offs at each checkpoint.

Registration for the Saints Way Challenge will be held at the Methodist Church Hall in Padstow PL28 8AU, further detail regarding registration timings will be posted closer to race day. There will be a mandatory kit list for runners to carry, all competitors will be subject to a kit check prior to the start of the Ricochet. This event will be timed, runners will be issued with a GPS tracker prior to the start of the challenge and be required to check in at the start, all 7 checkpoints and the finish.
