Due to the COVID-19 restrictions the first ever half marathon at Whinlatter Forest near Keswick will have to wait till later in 2021!

We are still very excited though to bring you this fantastic new event in January at this truly outstanding location. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions we will have to considerably limit the numbers running. We will only be able to have races with 24 runners in each, spread across the weekend. There will be four 10ks and four 5ks with entry to each based on predicted time. Please make sure you book your place in the correct event.

We still expect high demand for these places due to the fabulous location which should attract trail runners from across Cumbria, the North and beyond. All runners will receive a WOODEN MEDAL, A TECHNICAL T-SHIRT & A BEER OR SOFT DRINK at the finish. Please be aware that Whinlatter is a testing venue for running with a number of climbs in each distance, the views are worth it though!
