Welcome to the entry page for the Mount Pleasant RDA Walk, Trot, Gallop. We’d be delighted to have you participate in our virtual event.

We encourage you to walk, trot or gallop a 5k route of your choice and submit your results on-line, your results will appear on the leaderboard and you can download a printable ‘virtual finishers certificate’.

All profits from this event will go to us, Mount Pleasant RDA (registered charity 1127566). We cater for children up to the age of 14 with a variety of disabilities, providing not just the physical therapy of horse riding but a relaxed environment to learn about the horses and ponies they ride each week including stable management – all whilst having fun!

Our three principal objectives are:

• Developing and supporting opportunities for therapy
• Developing and supporting opportunities for achievement
• Enabling physical activity and enjoyment

Entry options - all are 5k (5k is 3.10 miles or 24.8 furlongs)

5k run - have a go at it in one go (aimed at adults / those able bodied)

5k staggered fun run-  that can be completed in separate chunks (please record your cumulative time) aimed at younger people / less able bodied who’d maybe find 5k in one go a bit tough.

5k horse fun ride - this can be completed in separate chunks or as one ride - whatever is most suitable to you. Please enter your total time to complete a 5k if completed in multiple shorter rides.

A leaderboard for each entry is available seperately.

When you enter the event you will have the choice of receiving a celebratory buff or rock slate coaster or both (with added fee) or donate the full amount.

Running / Walking - Mount Pleasant RDA is a Welsh Athletics and UK Athletics Competition provider, registration number 7593481.  The race is licensed by UK Athletics and participants are therefore covered for third party/public liability insurance. *Please Note* this insurance cover is only valid if you abide by UK Athletics race rules including but not limited to and regarding: No headphones; No racing with dogs; No racing while pushing a buggy.

Horse riding - please ensure you have adequate insurance in place before taking part.

Event bibs - Event bibs can be downloaded 1st December.

Prizes - Once you have completed your event and submitted the time we'll send out your prize. But please note to enable us to reduce any waste we will only order the buffs and coasters once entries have closed on 5th December.
