How To Record Your Distance Challenge Rides
You can ride at any time from 00:01 on Saturday 26th June up to 23:59 on Sunday 18th July and all times must be recorded on the system by 23:59 on Tuesday 20th July.
IMPORTANT: all dates and times are those in the UK (UTC + 1) and you will need to adjust for this based on your local time.
Locate your Ticket
Your Ticket for this challenge is stored in your Results Base profile and you will find it when you log in and look at 'Your tickets' under the My Area menu. Alternatively, use the direct link on the email you will receive in the week leading up to June 26th.
Your Ticket will look like this:
Use a Garmin device to record your ride
As this Challenge is a 'time for distance' challenge it is possible to link your Ticket to a Garmin device. This will automatically import your ride time as long as the distance that you ride matches your selected distance (a small variation is allowed).
To link your Garmin Connect account use the CHANGES button on your Ticket and from the options shown select Connect Garmin Connect. This brings up the following display and you can use the CONNECT button to link your Ticket to your Garmin Connect account.
Note that only rides taken within the duration of the Distance Challenge will be imported - you can remove any rides that you don't want to count on your Personal Summary page and select an alternate ride time or use the manual option if you prefer.
Record your time manually
To manually record your time select ENTER YOUR RESULT on your Ticket. This will bring up your Personal Summary page. That will bring up this screen:
This page shows the efforts that you have contributed to the team, you can Edit/Delete efforts here if you need to (scroll to the bottom as this page will grow as you contribute more rides over the challenge period.
To submit a ride click the green ADD button located on the Progress bar. That will take you to the following page (you will also get directly to this screen if you use the special button on your email):
Input the distance you travelled, the time that you took, provide a link to any online record of your ride (on Strava, MapMyRide, etc) and upload an image to support your time (eg a screen grab) or just a social image of you out on your bike.
