The Saints & Smugglers 100 Mile Challenge is back in 2022! 4 unique self navigation stages on 4 different dates culminating in the legendary Saints & Smugglers Challenge!

Sign up for one or take the plunge and commit to all 4 in order to complete the 100 Mile challenge!

Stage 1 – 12th March 2022 THE POLRUAN SHUFFLE –  A supported, self navigation exercise along 12.5 miles of Cornwall's most scenic southern Coast Path from Looe to Polruan. We will have one Checkpoint along the way at the beautiful Talland Bay, where our smiley, happy staff will welcome you in & ensure you are fully stocked with fluid and salt & sugar snacks! There is no cut off time for this event, however rumour has it there are a few hills & steps...
Essential kit list to be carried & all runners will be issued a GPS Tracker
Registration opens from 7am & the race will start on Looe Beach at 8.30am.


Stage 2 – 30th April 2022 THE SMUGGLERS WAY –  A 37 Mile supported, self navigation exercise through the beautiful county of Kernow. Starting out from the pretty North Coast fishing village of Boscastle, you will head south across Cornwall's stunning interior, via Bodmin Moor & Brown Willy, through wooded fields & lush green valleys, before finishing in the traditional seaside town of Looe on the south coast.
We will have 4 checkpoints for you along the route, where our smiley, happy staff will welcome you in & ensure you are fully stocked with fluids as well as salt, sugar & savoury snacks. Each Checkpoint will have it's own cut-off time & the event overall has a cut-off time of 14.5 hours. There will be an essential kit list to carry and all runners will be issued with a map & GPS tracker at registration
Registration will open from 5.30am & the race will start at 6.30am.

Stage 3 – 18th June 2022  THE BOSCASTLE SCRAMBLE – A  25 mile supported, self navigation exercise along the stunning north Cornish Coast Path all the way from famousRock on the Camel Estuary to the pretty fishing village of Boscastle.
We will have 3 checkpoints along the route for you where our smiley, happy staff will welcome you in & ensure you are fully stocked with fluids as well as salt, sugar & savoury snacks. Each checkpoint will have it's own cut-off time & the event overall has a cut-off time of 9 hours. There will be an essential kit list to carry & all runners will be issued with a map & GPS Tracker at registration
Registration will open at 6am & the race start time in Rock is 7.30am.

Stage 4 – 3rd September 2022 THE SAINTS WAY CHALLENGE - A supported, 28.5 mile self navigation exercise starting out from the seafood capital of Kernow, Padstow, following the way marked Saints Way Trail south through Cornwall's stunning interior. Up & over Helman Tor and through fields, woodland & valleys before finishing in the heart of beautiful Fowey on the South Coast.
We will have 3 checkpoints along the route for you, where our happy, smiley staff will welcome you in & ensure you are fully stocked with fluids as well as salt, sugar & savoury snacks. Each Checkpoint will have it's own cut-off time & the event overall has a cut-off time of 10.5 hours.
There will be an essential kit list to carry on the day & runners will be issued with a map & GPS tracker at registration.
Race registration will open from 5.30am, the challenge will start at 7am.
There is an optional extra cost for mini bus transport on all stages (please book at the same time as you book your challenge entry).

All 4 events are supported, self-navigation exercises with manned checkpoints containing fluid and sustenance along the route.
All runners will receive a Saints & Smugglers medal for each stage they complete with the unique stage ribbon, those completing the 100 Mile challenge (all 4 stages) will receive a unique 100 Mile challenge T-Shirt in addition!

Plus we will have awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male & Female on each stage and an award for the overall series Champion!

All 4 events are subject to restricted numbers.

There will be a mandatory kit list for runners to carry on all 4 stages & all competitors will be subject to a kit check prior to the start of the stage.

All stages will be timed. Runners will be issued with a GPS tracker prior to the start of the challenge and be required to check in at the start, all checkpoints and the finish.

The minimum age for all stages is 18 years.
