The Half
The Lakesman Half, launched in 2018, is a middle-distance race featuring 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile cycle and 13.1 mile run. It is designed to appeal to both the experienced or novice endurance athlete, the all-road course avoids mountain passes and fells to keep elevation to a minimum.

Brand new for 2024, for those of you who fancy a new challenge or simply don't want to (or can't) run!
Experience all the atmosphere and athlete treatment of the half event with medal, tshirt, athlete hospitality and a red carpet finish, all following exactly the same route as the Lakesman half.
Also an ideal opportunity to get a GB qualifying aquabike time.

Also brand new for 2024, for those of you who fancy a new challenge or simply don't want to (or can't) swim!
Experience all the atmosphere and athlete treatment of the half event with medal, tshirt, athlete hospitality and a red carpet finish, all following exactly the same route as the Lakesman half.
Please note, all non-BTF athletes will need to purchase a Race Pass from BTF HERE.
Failure to show proof of purchase of your BTF Race Pass on the day will result in you not being able to participant in the event.
