The Woodhorn Museum swims are located within the picturesque historic scheduled ancient monument of Woodhorn Museum and the QE2 Country Park. The open water swim challenge events are very well suited to beginners and equally attractive to the seasoned open water swimmer, choose your challenge, distances of 750m – 1.5km or 3km.

The swim will be in the warm shallow freshwater QE2 lake set within the park grounds.

If you are worried about open water swimming, why not join us for our weekly open water swimming sessions at the QE2 lake (every Thursday, May - July), further details are on our VO2Max open water swim page.

Challenge Swims

Woodhorn Museum Open Water Swim Challenges: 750m - 1.5km & 3km

The minimum age for the 750m and 1.5km is 12 yrs and 3km open water swim event is 13yrs old on 31st December 2024.

A booking fee of 5% will be applied to each order by our online entry partner, Results Base.
