Cowdray and Raw Running are excited to announce “Run the Seasons at Cowdray,” a new series of races gives runners a unique opportunity to explore our country Estate in West Sussex in each season.  Runners can choose either 5km, 10km or 10mile route with canicross options.  Why not enter the 10km run series for a chance to be crowned male or female series winners and be presented with a luxury hamper from Cowdray Farm Shop & Café.  Overall winners will be decided on a points system based on their finishing position with their top three results counting towards the series if they run all four 10km races.

SATURDAY 6TH APRIL 2024 - 9AM
SPRING (10KM AND 10 MILES)
The Spring race will take in the best parts of the Estate as it burst back into life after winter with daffodils and tulips on this morning run at Cowdray. Runners will have the choice of taking on either a 10km, 10 miles or dog-friendly canicross course across the stunning grounds of Cowdray Estate and the South Downs National Park.

FRIDAY 28TH JUNE 2024 - 7PM
SUMMER (5KM AND 10KM)
The Series will culminate on a summer's evening in June where the run will take you around the famous polo fields of Cowdray known as Lawns and out to Ambersham Common. Following the run there will be a presentation of prizes for the overall series winners, as well as a BBQ and bar to celebrate the end of the series. Runners will have the choice of taking on either a 10km, 5km or a dog-friendly canicross course across the stunning grounds of Cowdray Estate and the South Downs National Park.

SATURDAY 14TH OCTOBER 2023 - 9AM
AUTUMN (10KM AND 10 MILES)
Runners will have the choice of taking on either a 10km, 10 mile or dog-friendly canicross course which will take you up a gentle incline to Bexley Hill and beyond before turning back reveal the golden colours on the South Downs. After the race, head to the Farm Shop and have a go at making your own apple juice, sample a range of apple-themed treats and find out more about this humble but important fruit.

SATURDAY 9TH DECEMBER 2023 - 5PM 
WINTER (5KM and 10km) 
Join us two weeks before Christmas at our second Run the Seasons Race on a special night-time run through the park area before sipping mulled wine and exploring our Farm Shop and Café in all its Christmas glory. Runners will have the choice of taking on either a 10km, 5km or dog-friendly canicross course across the world-famous polo Lawns at night to the illuminated ruins before returning to the Cowdray Farm Shop.
