For 2024 we are unable to hold the Newark Half Marathon due to road closures.

The Newark Half Marathon is a well-established and recognised Annual Half Marathon. It’s aim in order of importance is:

1. To continue to organise and provide excellent events for runners of all abilities at national and local level. Recognising, through prize monies and awards, the best national racers in their age groups and those just starting out in their running.

2. To Continue to provide an avenue to promote Newark as a town and an opportunity for local businesses and organisations to publicise themselves.

3. Provide the means for local charities to raise monies for their causes.

Hosting a virtual event in 2024 is a great opportunity for us to raise plenty of money for charity.

We aim to bring the Half Marathon back to the Roads of Newark in 2025 with a new course.

An administration fee of 5% will be applied to each order by our online entry system partner, Results Base.
